When your system lets you down
Air conditioning tends to fail at the worst possible moment, usually in the middle of a heatwave or the first cold snap of winter. When it does, you want someone who will turn up, find the real cause and fix it properly, rather than guess and come back three times.
We work through the system step by step, using proper test equipment, until we know exactly what has gone wrong. Then we tell you what it is, what it will cost to put right and whether it is worth repairing, before we touch anything.

Before you call: check the remote batteries, make sure the system is set to the right mode and that nothing is blocking the outdoor unit. If there is an error code on the display, jot it down, as it helps us bring the right parts.
Repair or replace?
Most faults are well worth repairing, especially on a system that has been looked after. But if a unit is very old, needs a major part and uses an outdated refrigerant, a new system can work out better value over time. We will give you an honest view either way, with no pressure.
Stop it happening again
A lot of the faults we see come from blocked filters, dirty coils or drains that have silted up. Once your system is fixed, a yearly service is the best way to keep it that way, and it is often a condition of the manufacturer warranty too.

Do you repair systems you did not fit?
Yes. We repair Daikin, Fujitsu and Mitsubishi systems along with the other main makes, whoever installed them.
How quickly can you come out?
It depends on the time of year and where you are, but we always try to get to you as soon as we can. Call us and we will give you an honest idea of when.
How much does a repair cost?
Every fault is different, so we cannot give a price until we know what is wrong. We tell you the cost of the visit when you book, and agree the price of the repair with you before we do it.
Is it safe to keep using it?
If you notice a burning smell, sparking or water near electrics, switch it off at the isolator and call us. For other faults, turning it off until we arrive usually stops a small problem becoming a bigger one.
